It’s becoming increasingly popular for young athletes to begin specializing in one sport at earlier ages in an attempt to gain a competitive advantage. While spending more time practicing a sport and ‘outworking’ your competition may seem to make sense, it may not be giving kids the benefit that one would think and can even come with potential risks.
